Fall of roof on the roadway from a hidden slip. He was sought for in consequence of delay in bringing empty trams into the workings and was found as described. It would seem that between his passing the place on his way out and returning to it again a fall occurred which the horse got on to before stopping. Apparently deceased was behind the set having held a door open to allow of the horse passing and on finding how things were be got into the first tram in order to disengage the horse by pulling the pin out of the gun and while doing so a further fall crushed his head on the front end of the tram.
