Fall of roof on a road (stone drift) where a hauling engine had been placed. Deceased and another man had been filling loose dirt into a tub in order to get the rope off the drum of the engine which was not in use when the fall occurred. The place was wide and wet and the timber appeared to have slipped or reeled out. The other man was injured.
