Deceased was pushing at an empty waggon and at the same time using his brake-stick as a lever to a wheel. Two waggons were standing behind with brakes on. The loco dropped two more on to them which set them in motion, and they overtook deceased and he was crushed so severely that he died ten days later. No warning appears to have been given by the loco driver or shunter that more waggons were to be let down.
