Deceased complained to some fellow workmen that something ‘had come to his shoulder’ which interfered with his working, although he actually worked for two days. On March 1st he told his doctor that when lifting a tub five days previously he had strained his shoulder. He died nine days afterwards from pneumonia ‘which was in all probability secondary to the septic shoulder condition.'
