Died on October 24. Deceased who was in the employment of the occupier of the quarry was, assisted by one of the quarryman, placing a stone in a cart at the quarry when the little finger of his left hand was crushed. He continued working but at night visited a doctor who dressed the finger, and advised him to lay it up for a while. He, however, continued to work until the 21st October, and on the following day he complained of pains in his jaw and breast, and eventually lockjaw supervened from which he died.
