- A cauch of ripping 4 yards long and about 4 yards wide had to be taken down to make height in a jinney. A man was wedging at a stone on the rise side on the left side of the road expecting to get a portion down at that side. Deceased was standing at his right hand side slightly behind him holding a light. While in the cat of wedging much to their surprise the whole caunch came away together up to a parting. It knocked deceased‘s mate back of the way but he was caught and killed by it.
