Inquiry made. He was assisting to cut a winding rope and was holding a chisel hammer on the rope when another person was striking it with another hammer the handle of the hammer deceased was holding broke, causing the end of the hammer to fly up and it struck deceased on the forehead so violently that he succumbed to the effects of the injuries received September 6th 1903.
