Inspection made and inquest attended. Deceased was turning off a new working when a large mass of rock fell from the side and buried him. No one suspected any danger from the quarry side as it had been in the same condition for quite a dozen years. Several other men had narrow escapes but fortunately no one else was seriously injured.
