A carrying bar was being set under two cross bars at the top of a jig, with a view to the removal of the props under the ends of the cross bars, in order to permit of a tub road being taken along the face. One of these props had been drawn, and deceased was passing under the carrying bar when a stone fell from the roof, struck and knocked out the prop which had just been set under the carrying bar, and let down the roof. A large stone fell upon deceased.
