Fall of coal from the face. Whilst his mate was taking out a sprag by throwing a prop at it, deceased stood only 5 feet from the sprag and was caught by the falling coal. Three sprags had been taken out, the fatal one being the fourth, the whole mass 11 feet in length, being held by this last sprag.
