Crushed in cog wheels of washing machine. There appears to have been a kind of fence, but doubtless the wheels were not properly fenced. On the other hand he had no business there and especially not to make use of the fence - a rail - to cut timber upon, as he was doing. The place was usually kept locked, but he took the key without permission, and went there out of the cold and wet to cut up this timber.
