Roof fall. Two men Peter Carracher, 5 King Street, Fallin and Robert Brown, 34 Elphinstone Crescent, Airth were involved in an accident at the local Colliery last Friday (20 January 1956) when they were trapped by part of a roof which collapsed. Both men were taken to Stirling Royal Infirmary. Brown died on Monday morning (23 January). Carracher is making good progress. (Stirling Observer).
