Details of Event
While employed as a mason's labourer he was looking for some timber with which to erect a scaffold, when he trod upon a lath in which was a rusty nail. The latter penetrated has boot and inflicted a slight wound in his foot. He continued working for a week and was then suddenly taken ill and died from Tetanus 14th November.
