The two men, who were old servants of the company, were proceeding to their work up a slope, and not noticing that a set of tubs had stuck, went on their way instead of taking shelter in one of the safety holes, with the result that when the tubs came away the men were crushed between the tubs and the wall side, receiving serious injuries.
