Arthur Reginald Walkley died in Kumasi Hospital, Gold Coast, on 24th December, 1950, at the age of 47.
He was educated at St. Dunstan’s College, London, and from 1935 until 1943 was secretary and accountant in the Gold Coast of Gold Coast Banket Areas, Ltd., and South Banket Areas, Ltd. In 1943 Mr. Walkley took a similar post in the Gold Coast with the British Aluminium Co., Ltd., which he held up to the time of his death.
He was elected an Affiliate of the Institution in July, 1950.
