Colin Hugh Todd died in the Federated Malay States, in April, 1912.
From 1902 to 1908 he was a general assistant in the employ of the India Mica Co., Ltd., and subsequently acted as supervisor of a survey party under the Indian Government Survey. In 1905 and 1906 he studied at the Royal School of Mines and thence went to take up an appointment as amalgamator and cyanide assistant to the Attasi Mines and Railway Co., Ltd.
From 1907 until the time of his death he was engaged in tin mining in Perak, F.M.S.; for three years with the Pusing Lama Tin Mines, Ltd., Papan, and afterwards with the Siputeh Tin Mines, Ltd.
Mr. Todd was admitted to Studentship of the Institution in 1907.
