Thomas Pulsford Sims died at Swansea on December 20th, 1917.
For many years he was a partner in the firm of Messrs. J.S. Merry & Co., Assayers and Metallurgical Chemists of Swansea, where he was engaged in conducting assays of all the commercial metals, as well as some of the rarer metals; and was frequently called upon to give expert advice upon metallurgical questions.
Mr. Sims was elected a Member of the Institution in 1896.
