Bernhard Mohr died early in 1920.
Though a German by birth, his father being the well-known Friedrich Mohr, he was denationalized in Germany in 1877, and naturalized in England in 1896, and in 1918 changed his name to Bernard More. From 1885 to 1891 he held the position of consulting metallurgist of the Rio Tinto Company. In 1891 he began to practise as a consulting metallurgist and mining engineer, in which capacity he examined most of the nickel mines of the United States, Canada, Norway and Germany, for Dr. Ludwig Mond. In June, 1901, he was appointed general manager of the Mond Nickel Co., Ltd., a position which he held to the date of his death.
Dr. More was elected a Member of the Institution in 1902.
