Edward Lushington Lloyd died in June, 1913, aged 52 years.
He was engaged in mining from his boyhood, and in 1897 became manager of a small gold mine at Cue, Western Australia., which post he held until the end of 1900. From that date till the time of his death he continued in Cue, where he managed in succession the Agamemnon, Volunteer and Light of Asia mines.
Mr. Lloyd was elected an Associate of the Institution in 1909.
