The new member’s area has now been released. This is now on a separate website mining-history.uk, and is linked from the “Members Area” menu item above. All current members will have been provided with access to this.
This site is not complete and will take time to build. Most of the records appear as they were scanned in blocks of 100+ pages, and these will be broken down into articles as time permits – if anyone wants to help with this, your assistance will be greatly appreciated. Please contact me as below.
With 900 plans to add to the site, this will also take some time. If there are any that you are interested in, please let me know and I will prioritise those.
Currently, the member’s area holds around 32,000 pages of our records, 87 of over 900 plans (more to be added as time permits), 228 back editions of our newsletters, (an index of most of these can be found here), 1200 photographs (mainly coal mining with more to come), meeting reports from 2013.
