Stanley Tucker died on January 28th, 1942, at the age of 53.
From 1906 to 1911 he was an assistant in the laboratory of the late Messrs. Sulman and Picard, at 44, London Wall, E.C. 2, and in the latter year joined the staff of Minerals Separation, Ltd., with whom he maintained his association until the date of his death.
In the course of his career he was engaged on general metallurgical and oil flotation research work and the erection and working of concentration plants in Chile, Peru, the United States and Spain, notably in connexion with the Braden Copper Co., Rancagua, Chile, and the Rio Tinto Co., Huelva, Spain.
Mr. Tucker was admitted to Studentship of the Institution in 1911, and was elected an Associate in 1906.
