George John Tyack died in the spring of 1910, aged 25.
He was educated at Truro College and the Camborne School of Mines, and in 1905 joined the staff of the Carn Brae and Tin Croft Mines, Ltd., Cornwall. In 1906 he was appointed prospector and mine agent to the Kingsway Syndicate, and in October, 1909, was engaged by the Bundi Tin Mining Co. of Singapore, where his death occurred.
Mr. Tyack was admitted to Studentship of the Institution in 1907.
