Kenneth William Page died after a short illness at the European Hospital, Kuala Lumpur, F.M.S., on November 12th, 1929, at the age of 27.
He obtained the Associateship of the Royal School of Mines in 1922, and almost immediately secured a four years’ contract in the service of the Burma Corporation, Ltd., at their Namtu property, as a metallurgist. On the termination that engagement he went to Sumatra as assistant cyanide manager with the Mynbouw Maatschappij Siman at Lebong Tandai, and 1928 took up an appointment with the Bukit Arang Tin, Ltd., to take charge of the erection of a gravity mill. He was with last-named company until his death.
Mr. Page was admitted Studentship of the Institution in 1927 and was transferred Associateship exactly a calendar month after his decease, but before the news was received in England.
