Andrew Quartano died at Zacatecas on December 26th, 1911.
He was educated at the Royal School of Mines, and for about two yours subsequent, to his technical training held an appointment at Lead, South Dakota. From 1908 until the date of his death he was almost continuously in Mexico, where he was engaged with La Cia. Minera “Las Dos Estrellas” at El Oro.
Mr. Quartano was admitted to Studentship of the Institution in 1903.
