Gordon Robertson Brydone died in Northern Nigeria on June 17th, 1912, aged 22 years.
He was educated at the Diocesan College, Roudebosch, Cape Colony, and then came to England, where from 1909 to 1912, he was articled to Mr. G.T. Holloway.
In February, 1912, he obtained a post under the Anglo-Continental Mines Co., Ltd., at Naraguta, Northern Nigeria, where he died four months later from an attack of malignant malaria.
Mr. Brydone was admitted to Studentship of the Institution in 1911.
