EASY UNDERGROUND – the weather was hot and sunny so the cool entrance was especially inviting. We initially navigated to the stone workings which provided stone for many of the roofs in Reeth long after the demise of lead mining within Booze Wood. Some members spent some time trying to get into every “nook and cranny” of the stone mine.
