Shaft
Meadow Pit, sunk c1780 to Cannel Mine, 180 feet, Seven feet dia. Filled up 1806.
Opened out 1851, enlarged to oval shape and sunk to Arley Mine. Downcast.
Seams intersected – No records from surface to bottom of Cannel.

Winding
Single cylinder horizontal engine, approx. 30 inches x 60 inches, Cornish valves. 2 – 4 deck cages, one tub per deck, Wooden cage conductors.
Pumping
Bull type pumping engine, non-condensing, worked at night.
Compressed Air
Walker Bros. cross-compound engine, single stage air cylinders, Meyer expansion slide valves on both cylinders. (possibly Walker Bros. No.10015/1901, 18 inches + 30 inches (steam), 2 x 20 inches (air), 42 inches stroke. 100psi steam, 60psi. air.

Boilers – Four Lancashire boilers with square chimney.
CLOSURE – Meadow and William pits abandoned 1927.
